In her role as Secretary, Krista will be responsible for keeping all the applicable federal and state corporate legal documents, as well as, keeping a permanent book of minutes for all Chapter Board meetings.
Krista Elema is proud to be entering her sixth year as a member of NCL, Milton Chapter and her fourth year serving on the Board of Directors. Prior to serving as Secretary, Krista served for two years as VP of Philanthropy, one year each as Philanthropy Liaison for STAR House and Photography Chair. In addition to NCL, Krista is active at her children’s schools serving on the PTA Boards and Committees, as well as serving on the Host Team at North Point Community Church. Krista earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Central Michigan University. She has taught children from preschool through 8th grade.
Krista’s daughter, Katie, is a Ticktocker in the Class of 2019 and attends The Howard School. Together, Krista and Katie enjoy spending quality time together giving back to their community by volunteering through NCL, Milton and Lighthouse Family Retreat. They feel blessed to get the chance to serve at the various NCL, Milton Chapter philanthropy partners; STAR House and HomeStretch are two of their favorites. Krista and her husband, Eric, have two other children, Jacob and Ryan, as well as a feisty terrier named Petey. In her free time, Krista enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with her family.
