Vice President of Provisionals

Mariellen Ostwald

Mariellen is honored to serve her 2nd year on the NCL Milton Chapter Board as the VP of Provisionals. She served on the Resource Committee during her provisional year. She enjoys serving alongside such a dedicated group of women, who share the desire to raise their daughters with a sense of purpose.

Mariellen was born and raised in Southern California. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts and psychology from Pepperdine University, followed by a master’s degree in education with a teaching credential. She taught at Woodland Hills Elementary School (LAUSD) to a combination of general and special education students. She moved to Georgia 8 years ago.

She currently serves on the Board for Pepperdine’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology, and is an active volunteer in her daughter’s schools and tennis teams. Her daughter, Abby, is a freshman at Cambridge High School (Class of 2022). Her younger daughter, Lexie, is in 5th grade at Summit Hill Elementary School. She just celebrated her 16th wedding anniversary with Kevin, as well as her bullmastiff, Sunny’s, 6th birthday.

Mariellen enjoys good tea, good oysters, and sand between her toes.
