Vice President of Ticktockers
Julie Smith is honored to be serving the NCL Milton Chapter as VP of Ticktockers after having a rewarding provisional year serving as GLAD for the Class of 2023, of which her daughter Ella Butler is a Ticktocker. Her other daughter, Sophie Butler, is in the Class of 2021. They have enjoyed volunteering together at several NCL philanthropies. Some of their favorite philanthropies include Meals by Grace, Ruff Dog Rescue, and Erin’s Hope for Friends.
Julie holds a BFA in Theatre, specializing in performance from Auburn University. She has worked in regional and community theatre in several US cities, as Creative Producer for children’s ministry at Roswell United Methodist Church, fundraising and event planning for Foster Care Support Foundation in Roswell, GA, and several Atlanta film projects. She now works for the SAM Foundation as the Georgia Program Coordinator to execute the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization, of which are suicide prevention and awareness. Unfortunately, this is a mission she holds dear to heart and welcomes others to reach out and talk about this important matter.
Julie resides in Milton, GA with her husband Andrew and blended family of five children, all girls ranging in age from 5 to 15. In her spare time, who is she kidding, she has none.
